The Cutting Garden

So I’ve decided to compile all of the information that I have right now about starting a cutting garden. Last year all of my free time was devoted to research on growing flowers that I hardly had anytime to spend mastering my other crafts. Starting a cutting garden may seem simple but, there is a lot of work that goes into the initial set up (especially if this will become a business).

It is not for the faint of heart. Be ready for failures: including rejection, drought, excessive rains, wind, diseases, pests, or a crop that just doesn’t come up.

But, then there are always the miracles that happen. Watching a sunflower seedling emerge for the first time, is an experience like non other. It gives you a sense of pride. You nurtured that tiny seed into a thriving plant, that you and others can now enjoy. I pray that everyone will learn to love flowers and nature as much as I do. Enjoy!!!!
