So this day did not turn out how I hoped it would. There were plans of planting, seeding, and tilling up beds but sometimes things change. Instead of doing all of that I got to do my other favorite summer pass time, mowing. My dad, brother and I mow lawns and cemeteries during the spring and summer and it usually takes up most of our weekends. Call me weird but mowing cemeteries is a very peaceful experience. Just you and the quietness very relaxing and it helps me to reflect on the past weeks.
So before I went to “sit and reflect” there was some time to whip up a little Spring time bouquet. Included in the bouquet is: bearded iris, snowball viburnum, pink dianthus, columbine, and……just for Lucas…. some yarrow.
